Eclipse Shot of Downtown Seattle? on Flickr.Via Flickr:
Here is a shot of downtown Seattle and CenturyLink Field taken from Jose Rizal Bridge that was MEANT to include the fully eclipsed moon right in the middle of the scene. I got up at 3:30 am… and it was clear. I drove down into Seattle and set up on the bridge… and it was clear (and also freezing). The eclipse started, the moon moved into perfect position… and it was clear. …..but just as the eclipse was about to reach totality, a think marine layer rolled in in a matter of minutes and blocked the moon…At least the city lighting up a low cloud deck at night is kind of pretty, too. ;)
